ShareA bit like being seated at the next table to your ex-wife at a restaurant following an acrimonious divorce, Bryn Kenney and the man who accused him of cheating, Martin Zamani, found themselves unexpectedly thrown together this week...
For those who somehow missed one of the biggest stories of the year, Zamani is the pro who accused his former backer Kenney of ghosting, multi-accounting and various other nefarious activities.
Not only were Kenney’s direct poker actions as boss of a stable called into question, he was also alleged to have forced his players – known as “horses” – into undergoing bizarre rituals involving a shaman and frog poison.
Kenney refuted all the claims against him, although very few were impressed by either him or his interviewer, close friend Sarah Herring of PokerNews.
Highstakes player Lauren Roberts publicly shared messages between the pair that undermined Kenney’s claims of innocence, and Zamani later revealed hundreds of messages that also harmed Kenney’s credibility significantly.
That is the background to the beef between the pair, and just as Daniel Negreanu and Doug Polk found themselves seated together at the height of their grudge...

What was said between the pair hasn’t been revealed – yet – but the pair can be seen smiling in the tweet below...
However, a post on the 2plus2 forum read: “Saw someone there said that they were arguing loudly and TD had to come tell them to STFU, when Bryn busted someone asked Zamani how and he said Bryn dusted it off like usual.”
That first scene made its way to Twitter too, with the Seminole Hard Rock floor person having a word as at least one player looks on with glee...
While Kenney bust out early, thus ending the fun and games between accused and accuser, Zamani made it to the paid spots in the Championship event.
