Jeremy Ausmus added a victory to his previous day’s runner-up spot in the PokerGO Cup, taking down event 4 for a $263,250 payday and jumping to the top of the overall leaderboard race.
The fourth tournament in the 8-event NLHE series at the PokerGO studio inside the Aria saw the buy-in bumped up from $10k to $15k, with 65 entries producing a prizepool of $975,000.
With 10 spots paid there was to be no return visit to the cashier’s cage for the winners of the first Daniel Colpoys, Sean Perry and Jake Daniels all falling before the money.
For last year’s inaugural PokerGO Cup winner, Daniel Negreanu, it was further disappointment – three blanks followed by a money- bubble exit...
Daniel Negreanu: A♠5♥
Brock Wilson: Q♠7♣
Flop: J♠4♦ 9♦
Turn: K♣
River: 7â™
Frustrating first 4 events @PokerGO Cup, built a stack in every one only to bust near the bubble and today we stone bubbled 11th it paid 10.

A5 vs Q7 was good to the river 7.
The $25k buy ins start tomorrow, 4 events left.
Frustration for DNegs and there would be more river woes to come in his next tournament, which you can read about in tomorrow’s report on the ongoing $25k, event 5.
The top ten were now in the money, but neither Jake Daniels nor highstakes regular “teammate” Alex Foxen could make the final table of six, day one ending with PokerGO founder leading the chip counts.
The first KO of the final table was an incredible three-way action hand, both Ausmus and Jesse Lonis all-in and at risk...
Lonis: A♠A♣
Saliba: J♥ J♣
Ausmus: 10♠10♦
Flop: 4♦ 10♥ 8♦
Turn: 6â™
River: 5♥
Saliba would fall next, getting it in good with big slick but losing out to Brock Wilson’s turned pair and then it was Bill Klein’s turn to exit, Katz flopping a set.
Down to just three, and Cary Katz hit a brick wall in Ausmus, losing two big hands to hit the rail in 3rd spot, leaving Ausmus and Wilson to fight for the win.
Ausmus pulled ahead and when the end came, Wilson’s last ten big blinds went in ahead, but it didn’t last long...
Wilson: A♣ 4♥
Ausmus: Q♠3♣
Flop: K♣ 8♥ 4â™
Turn: Q♥
River: J♣
With that, Jeremy Ausmus had added a PokerGO Cup win to his runner-up spot, taking another $263,250 and jumping out to a big lead in the race for the overall winner.,
