Jon “aduriz20” Gomez Samperio has won €12,500 in the €1,150 buy-in Irish Poker Open Main Event. Gomez Samperio qualified for the €1 million GTD tournament in a HighStakes satellite event along with Anthony “ThunderballsAK” Thunder and Giorgos “Onbidea” Loukas who failed to win a prize.
Gomez Samperio’s live tournament career is getting off to a good start after he won his first ever prize of €2,150 only last month in his home country of Spain. His 20th place finish in Dublin put him ahead of many big names in the game and will no doubt give him the motivation to spend more time playing satellite events on the HighStakes platform.
