Cash game action was riveting at Hustler Casino Live recently when "RampagePoker" fearlessly bluffed his way to scooping a $165,000 pot.
The stakes at the NLHE table were $100/$200 with a $200 big blind ante. From early position, Bill Klein opened to $1,400 while holding Kh-Jd. Yau (Ks-Qs) made the call, as did Prince Charles (2s-2c). Last to act on the button was J.R., who three-bet to $9,000 with Ad-10d under the hood.
The three-bet sent Klein to the sidelines while Rampage and Prince Charles tossed in their chips to see the flop of 6c-9d-10s. Checks from his opponents prompted J.R. to c-bet $11,000 with his top pair and top kicker.
With two over cards and a gut-shot straight draw, Rampage decided to check-raise to $35,000. The pocket deuces were mucked by Prince Charles, while J.R. made the call.
The dealer peeled the 9h on the turn to pair the board. Rampage continued his aggressive play with a $33,000 bet. His opponent again called.
The river revealed the 6s, putting a double pair on the board. Surrendering the pot was not on the mind of Yau as he laid out a bet of $120,000 while holding king-high. J.R. had the better hand, but folded.
