Adam Hendrix bagged event 4 of the 2022 Poker Masters in Las Vegas, securing the $192,400 with a heads-up victory over Nate Silver and jumping into 2nd spot in the race for the Purple Jacket.
Seventy-four entries came in at $10k apiece for the third No Limit Hold’em tournament of the 10-event series playing out in the PokerGO studios at the Aria casino.
That meant 11 paid spots and Chris Lee was the unlucky one to miss out on the bubble, getting it in with a big ace and pairing it on the flop, but that was the end of the good news...

The remaining 11 had doubled their money, barring second bullets, and had their sights set on a big payday and points in the leaderboard race.
By the time day one had finished, however, Turvin had fallen, along with Chris Brewer, Billy Wragg, Nick Schulman, Justin Young. That left 6 players to return for day two, with two women in the mix for the first time at a Poker Masters final table, Xuan Liu and Victoria Livschitz vying to become the first-ever female winner...
Liu struck first, cracking Erik Seidel’s pocket jacks with a timely flopped ace, and then Ed Sebesta departed in 5th spot, his 7s losing out to Silver’s kings.
Sebesta, who only took up poker in his 70s, donates all his winnings to his local church, which can now look forward to another $59,200 after Ed’s deep run. Liu and Livschitz then crossed swords...

Livschitz was out in 4th for $74k, but Liu was unable to take her chips any further, falling to Hendrix but pocketing $96,200 for an excellent showing.
Heads-up between Hendrix and Silver was a good battle, but Silver could never quite get back on level terms and eventually found himself all-in and hoping for his draw to hit...
