The 2022 U.S. Poker Open saw many great events with some of the world’s best players clashing in high roller tournaments.

Event #9 $25,000 NL Hold’em didn’t disappoint with Phil Hellmuth once again finding himself on the wrong side of lady luck and, as many times before, couldn’t help himself and keep quiet.

Hellmuth and Alex Foxen clashed in the hand in question with event winner Erik Seidel also at the same table.

Alex Foxen raises to 100k with Js9s, Nakamura folds, Phil Hellmuth calls with AsJc. Seidel and Sam Soverel fold.

The flop comes down Jh 5h 9c, setting the scene for another classic rant!

Foxen bets out 105k and Hellmuth calls.

The turn is the 4d and the pot is now 535,000.

Foxen, a 93% favourite, now bets 315k with only 760k behind, already having Hellmuth shaking his head in disbelief like he knows what’s coming. But he puts Foxen all-in anyway and soon gets the bad news.

Only three aces left in the deck can help the Poker Brat but the poker gods decide that they’re not dishing out charity today.
