ShareJamie Foxx has returned to work after a mysterious medical emergency that occurred in April 2023. Foxx was recently spotted filming a commercial for BetMGM at the Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, marking his first project since his hospitalisation.
Although the nature of his medical emergency remains undisclosed, Foxx has been on the road to recovery for the past few months and was keen to return to work.

Jamie Foxx has been partnering with BetMGM for almost three years now. The Grammy and Academy Award winner is the face of the King of Sportsbooks campaign .

During his recovery, Foxx has expressed gratitude for the support he has received from his family, friends, and fans. In an emotional Instagram video, Foxx thanked his sister Deidra Dixon and his daughter Corinne for saving his life, as well as the medical professionals who helped him during his hospitalisation.
Despite not revealing the specifics of his medical condition, Foxx has debunked rumours that he was blind, paralyzed, or a clone.
“Jamie is doing so much better and he’s starting to feel like himself again. He’s not 100 percent and is still taking things easy, but he’s definitely on the road to recovery. [He] has a huge support system around him and his friends and family are making sure that he doesn’t take on too much. [He] is feeling really good and is excited to get back to work once the time is right.”
As Foxx continues to recover, fans can look forward to seeing him back in action and working on new projects.
