Making Millionaires
The Venom has been making millionaires of poker players for six years, and this year’s prize pool ties the largest tournament in America’s Card Room history. Seven poker players have become millionaires through The Venom in it’s short history, and this year’s event is no different.Multiple Ways To Enter
Although the tournament doesn’t begin until January 21st, players can start competing now to earn a $2,650 Venom Ticket. Round one of the Blitz Satellites start at just $0.11, and players can earn tickets to the next round. For $0.11 users have the chance to compete for millions.Players can buy in at any of the nine levels. Starting with 10 big blinds, the objective is to win 5,000 chips. Once the mark is reached, a ticket to the next level is rewarded. Multiple tickets can be won at the same level which grants unlimited possibilities for entry.
There are also various satellites starting January 2nd and lasting until January 30th, which is well into the tournament. Most of the Mega Satellites offered have a three step-process which starts with a freeroll satellite. Win one of the ten seats to a Super Satellite – which grants access to the Mega Satellite – to advance. Once in the Mega Satellite players have a chance to win a $2650 Venom Ticket.
Lastly, Venom On Demand Step and Skip Tournaments allow players to compete for a Venom Ticket anytime and at their own pace. Starting at $0.00, players can climb the steps directly into a Venom seat. There are also Venom On Demand Skip tournaments, which grant players the ability to skip steps in the Venom Step series.
Venom Staking
This year’s Venom is the first to feature the MTT staking feature on ACR. Players have the option to buy action from willing players, granting them a chance at big money without playing, or they can choose to sell their own action.
