What Is A PKO Tournament?
A PKO (Progressive KnockOut) tournament is just a clever and exciting variation on a standard bounty tournament.Standard KO/Bounty events see half the buy-in you pay going to the main prizepool, and half to the Bounty fund. So, if your buy-in is $20, that’s $10 to each.
With a $20 PKO tournament, however, although the $10 to each prizepool is the same, whenever you KO someone, half of the $10 bounty – $5 – goes to you as a prize, and the other $5 gets added to the bounty on your head!
The bounties can quickly add up to massive amounts, sometimes even worth more than the prizepool jump.
