Australia’s Michael Addamo is on a highstakes roll this week with two wins and third spot finish at the WPT Online series earning him almost $600,000 against the world’s best players
The young Melbourne pro started his run off with victory in the $5,200 High Roller Turbo, overcoming a field of 54 that included Kristen Bicknell, Steve O’Dwyer and Russian crusher Artur Martirosian.
It was Bicknell’s other half Alex Foxen – the pair newly-engaged – who provided the heads-up opposition, but Addamo on a roll is a hard man to stop and so it proved.

At the same time as taking that one down, Addamo was taking the chip lead into day two of the $10,300 High Roller, this time the likes of Mike Watson and Sergei Reixach among the contenders running deep.
Addamo couldn’t quite go back-to-back, but his third spot was worth another $116k, with Christopher Brewer bagging the win and a $250k payday.
