Bert "girafganger7" Stevens has won the WSOP Online Main Event for $2,783,433. The online MTT star is one of the biggest characters in the game and it’s hard to think of a more popular player who could have won this event.

Biggest Online Poker Tournament Ever

The 2023 WSOP Online Main Event had a $5,000 buy-in and attracted a field of 6,023 entries, making it a new world record for an online poker tournament.

The prize pool was an outrageous $28,609,252 breaking the previous record from 2020 of $27,559,500. Stoyan Madanzhiev won $3.9 million for his victory in that tournament, thinking at the time that he was the legit world champion until a hybrid online/live series was organised later in the year.

Stevens streamed his entire tournament on his Twitch channel and the replay is still there for everyone to watch at their leisure. This was the biggest ever tournament score live streamed for all the fans to see.
