ACR Poker’s Mystery Bounty Venom Awards Over $10 Million in Prizes

The latest edition of ACR Poker’s Mystery Bounty Venom has officially wrapped up, awarding more than $10 million in total prize money across its No-Limit Hold'em (NLH) and Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) tournaments. Poker enthusiasts from around the world battled for enormous bounties, massive payouts, and the thrill of competing in one of the biggest online events of the year.

NLH Venom – A Record-Breaking Tournament

The $8 Million GTD NLH Venom shattered expectations, attracting 3,519 entrants across five starting flights and generating a final prize pool of $8,797,500, with $4,398,750 in bounties up for grabs.

The final table, held on Tuesday, February 4th, was stacked with top-tier talent, including 2023 WSOP Player of the Year Ian 'RiverRiot72' Matakis, Ethan 'RampagePoker' Yau, and Barak 'iWasOnly17' Wisbrod. In the end, it was Brazilian poker pro Carlos 'S1NISTR0' Rocha who claimed the title after a three-way ICM deal, walking away with a career-defining $748,000 in total winnings, including a $613,547 first-place prize and $135,000 in bounties.

“It’s a dream come true and a huge milestone in my career,” Rocha said. “I love playing this tournament, and the Venom structure is incredible.”

PLO Venom – Omaha Action at Its Finest

Meanwhile, the $2 Million GTD PLO Venom tied as ACR Poker’s biggest Omaha tournament to date, drawing 872 entrants and generating a final prize pool of $2,180,000, including $1,090,000 in bounties.

In a thrilling finale, ‘Skretcher9’ emerged victorious, securing a $210,631 first-place prize, along with an additional $65,000 in bounties. Poker legend Dirk 'Venividi1993' Gerrits was among the competitors, adding to the prestige of the event.

ACR Poker Pro Chris Moneymaker praised the tournament, stating, “The turnout and energy in both Venom tourneys was awesome. Kudos to all the winners and those who walked away with incredible bounties.”
