Danny Tang, Mike Watson and Richard Yong all added Triton titles to their already impressive poker resumes this week, the post-Main Event tournaments a mix of highstakes NLH Turbo, PLO and Short Deck...
Danny Tang actually bagged the $50,000 NLH Turbo tournament while the Main Event - won by Jason Koon - was still at the final table. The Hong Kong pro’s second Triton trophy of the year came with a $545,000 payout, his 4th cash of the Triton Poker SHR North Cyprus stop.
Tang defeated Santosh Suvarna heads-up, the Indian looking for his own second Triton win, having taken down the series opener at the Merit Royal Hotel & casino in Kyrenia.
The final hand saw Suvarna shove the turn with a double-gutter, only to brick against Tang’s top pair.

The fun-filled and action-packed 36-card variant is always a delight for those watching at home, sometimes less so for the players...
