High stakes cash game action at The Lodge in February saw Bill Perkins, Keith Tilston and Robbi Jade Lew involved in a hand that escalated into a $155K pot after Lew shoved all-in for $65,000 on the turn and received a call from Tilston.
The hand began with Lew (7d-7c) raising pre-flop to $3,200 from an early position. Tilston (Qd-9d) called the raise from the small blind. Ditto that for Perkins (Ac-10c) from the straddle.
Action Flop Gets No Action
The flop of 10d-Kd-7s gave Lew a set, Perkins middle pair, and Tilston second nut-flush draw along with a gut-shot straight draw. Checks all the way around kept the pot at $11,200 before the Jh landed on the turn, giving Keith a straight.Tiltston bet slightly less than half the pot for $5,000 and was raised to $15,000 by Perkins. That's when Robbi made her all-in move that sent Perkins to the sidelines with his pair. Tilston thought for a while, but was never going to fold with his King-high straight and second nut-flush draw.
A request from Lew to run it twice was accepted by Tilston, who managed to fade a full house or quads on both run outs, taking down the entire pot. Check out the hand in the tweet below that erroneously posted that Keith turned a set when he actually turned a straight.
