Lady Luck finally smiled on Phil Hellmuth after a lot of frustration and four final tables at the 2021 World Series of Poker. His win in Event #31: $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw extended his record to incredible 16 WSOP gold bracelets. His whole career now includes 157 cashes and historic breakout victory in the 1989 Main Event, when he became the youngest winner in history. This victory was his first in a deuce-to-seven poker game and third in a non-Hold’em variation.
Event #31 drew a star-studded field of 272 runners with a prize pool of $363,120.
