The Moneymaker Tour continues to impress, recently smashing its Main Event guarantee at the tour’s second stop at Daytona Beach Racing and Card Club.
The Moneymaker Tour, which had a successful debut in May at the Palm Beach Kennel Club, set a $300,000 guarantee for the Main Event but the final prize pool reached an impressive $511,650, with over $100,000 going to the tournament winner.

The Daytona Main Event was won by Dion Jagroo, who defeated Ricardo Eyzaguirre heads-up. $102,222 went to the winner and $81,383 to the runner up after a deal was agreed.
The Moneymaker Tour, founded by 2003 WSOP Main Event Champion Chris Moneymaker and Executive Tour Manager Tony Burns, has garnered significant support from players and fans alike.
Moneymaker Tour Heads to Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati
Exciting stuff, but the tour is already looking ahead to its next stops. The Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati will host the tour from September 21 to October 2, offering over $2 million in guarantees.
The Moneymaker Tour's first stop at the Palm Beach Kennel Club featured memorable moments and winners, setting high expectations for upcoming events. In fact, the tour will be returning to West Palm Beach in late October for 12 days.
27 trophy events are scheduled with more than half a million dollars in guarantees lined up.
Noah Carbone, PBKC Poker Room Director, said:
“We are very excited to welcome back the Moneymaker Tour at PBKC. The inaugural tour event in May proved to be a great fit for us with a variety of popular events appealing to all types of poker players.”
Tony Burns, the Moneymaker Tour’s co-founder and Executive Manager, added:
“The Moneymaker Tour looks forward to returning to PBKC this October as we continue to grow our partnership. The inaugural series was an amazing success with great stories from Gene Calden to Main Event winner Mike Rossi.”
With its growing success, the Moneymaker Tour is quickly becoming a prominent fixture in the poker world.
