The Triton Super High Roller Series is well underway at the iconic Monte Carlo Casino, and the big prizes are coming rapidly.
Austria’s Matthias Eibinger took down the Main Event for a career-best $3,461,261 and German high stakes star Christoph Vogelsang pulled off the incredible feat of performing a true “chip and a chair” tale of his own doing.
Matthias Eibinger Wins Triton Monte Carlo Main Event
Matthias Eibinger defeated his 134 rivals to take down the winner’s slice of a monster $16,875,000 prize pool that was split between the top 23 finishers.
The Austrian hadn’t pulled off a seven-figure score since 2020 but now he has another and it’s his biggest yet.
He adds another $3,461,261 to his career total and also takes home a Jacob & Co timepiece. Also, thanks to the generosity of luxury brand Bombay, Eibinger will be spending a couple of nights aboard an exclusive Bombay yacht with five friends.

Christoph Vogelsang Does the Impossible in $100,000 NL Hold'em 8-Handed
Christoph Vogelsang is a polarising player on the high-stakes circuit. He has many admirers for his methodical and deliberate approach to the game, but his often excessive tanking in all manner of spots riles many of his peers.
But it’s impossible not to admire his success. Currently sitting in 20th place on the all-time winners list with $31,431,909, he has only three wins on his record. He is devilishly effective at racking up score after score, even when he can’t seal the ultimate deal of the win.
At the Monte Carlo Casino, the German’s touch seemed to have gone missing in one of the biggest events on the schedule. Long before the bubble, he found himself with a single chip worth only one big blind. It looked like it was all over.
But hand-by-hand, Vogelsang clawed his way back into contention. And even then it was far from certain because look at those names on the final table. When you’re up against Phil Ivey, Jonathan Jaffe, Daniel Dvoress, and Danny Tang, you’re happy for any result that comes your way.
But the magic continued and players headed to the rail one after another and eventually Cristoph Vogelsang was the last man standing. He takes home a prize of $2,644,000 after agreeing a deal with Nacho Barbero during heads-up play.
