Four days of high stakes tournament poker culminated in a victory for Justin Bonomo as he eliminated Daniel Negreanu to capture the title and first place prize money of $5,000,000.

Bonomo is in the midst of an amazing 2018 that has seen him land in the winner's circle six times, including the Super High Roller Bowl China in March for $4,823,077. His latest $5 million payday in the PokerGo studio puts him over $14 million in cashes for the year.

And to think, Justin was near elimination on Day 3 when he shoved the last of his chip stack with A-10 and was an underdog to Cristoph Vogelsang's pocket kings. An ace materialized on the river, propelling Bonomo on to Day 4 and eventual victory.

Final Table

The final day of SHRB action experienced its first elimination when Nick Petrangelo fell short with tens against the ladies of Jason Koon. Last year's SHRB champ, Cristoph Vogelsang, followed Nick to the rail in 5th place, and was later joined by the final day's beginning chipleader, Mikita Badziakouski, in 4th.

That left Koon, Negrean and Bonomo to battle it out, with all three guaranteed at least $2.1 million on their $300,000 investment. Koon was sent packing soon after a key hand against Bonomo decimated his chip stack.

A roughly 4-1 chip advantage over KidPoker turned out to be plenty despite a gallant effort by Daniel to turn the tables on Bonomo. Negreanu picked up $3 million for his runner-up finish, creating a bit more distance between himself and his nearest pursuer on the all-time money leaderboard.
