Jared Bleznik has won the first ever Super High Roller Bowl: Pot-Limit Omaha event for $1,292,000. The American outlasted a field stacked with top-tier talent to take down the inaugural edition in Las Vegas at the PokerGO Studio.

The event attracted 38 entries, each paying $100,000 to buy in, creating a massive $3,800,000 prize pool.

Only seven places got paid, with Daniel Negreanu drawing the short straw, bubbling after his bottom set ran head on into Jared Bleznik’s middle set.

Intense Final Table Action

The final table was as tough as they come. Ike Haxton arrived as the chip leader and Stephen Chidwick was looking as dangerous as he ever does.

Chino Rheem was first to head to the rail. Fresh from a great WSOP, Poker Masters and winning the PGT Mixed Game II series, the American must have been confident. Sadly, it wasn’t to be.

Frank Crivello and Aaron Katz weren’t far behind, leaving a four-way fight. By this point, the stacks had all evened out somewhat, promising a closer, more drawn out battle than we were expecting.

Chidwick was wielding the short stack, but with more than 65 big blinds to fight with it was still anybody's game.

Well, we thought it was anybody’s but around about now Bleznik started to stamp his authority on the table, ruthlessly accumulating chips. He was feeling so confident by now that he even used a time bank extension to open a box of sports cards while Kempton was all-in.

Soon after, Bleznik sent Kempton to the rail and then there were only three remaining.

Bleznik now had a 3-1 chip advantage over Haxton, who had almost double the chips of Chidwick.

The action by now was getting fast and furious. Haxton doubled up Chidwick before the pair engaged in a series of all-ins passing chips back and forth.

Chidwick then doubled up through Bleznik to leave him barely in front of both his rivals.

This three-way battle went on for more than six hours. This was high stakes poker at its grueling best.

Then, as quick as a flash, it was all over. Chidwick was out, leaving Haxton in front, before Bleznik hit a run of good fortune to wrap it all up finding a set to beat the queens of Haxton.
