Recent cash game action at Live at the Bike saw all eight players ante $200 in a double board bomb pot that allowed everyone to see the flop without any pre-flop betting.
The dealer laid out 9d-9h-4d on the top board and 10s-Qs-9s on the bottom. Sammy the Bull (As-8c) got the betting started, pushing in $300 with a nut flush draw on the bottom board.
Four players made the call, with Nick (Kh-Js) flopping the nut straight and an open-ended straight flush draw on the bottom board. The pot stood at $3,100 when the turn revealed the Ks on top and the 8d on the bottom board.
Top board: 9d-9h-4d-Ks
Bottom board: 10s-Qs-9s-8d
Leading the betting with $1,000 was Robbi Jade Lew (Jd-5d), who made a queen-high straight on the bottom board while holding a flush draw on the top. Three players folded following Lew's bet, leaving only her and Nick to battle over the double board.
The turn gave Nick top two pair on the top board along with his king-high straight on the bottom board. His open-ended straight flush draw was gone on the bottom board with the Ks turn card on top, but the 8s on the river would still do the trick.
Nick dutifully raised to $4,000. Robbi thought it over before making the call and $11,100 was up for grabs in the split-pot game with the river yet to come.
Did Robbie hit her flush draw on the top board? She was practically drawing dead on the bottom board, needing one of two remaining kings in order to make a king-high straight for a chop.
The pot increased to $23,850 after the dealer peeled the river cards. Watch the action play out below.
