Chris Brewer has added the PokerStars EPT Paris €50k SHR to his growing list of impressive wins, a career-best score of €959,520 taking his week’s tally alone to over €1.3million.
Brewer, who bagged victory in the first of two €25k High Rollers just a few days ago, was among 68 entries to the 3-day €50k event, a prizepool of €3,198,720 to be shared among the top nine finishers.
Fedor Holz was among those who fired off the allowed two bullets without success on day one, although Thomas Muehlocker – 6th in the second of the €25k High Rollers – turned bullet two into another cash.
In fact, it was the Austrian player who resolved the money bubble, the ultimate cooler bumping Canada’s Tim Adams from the paid spots ...

Adams: K♥ Kâ™
Board: 4♥ 8♣ 8♦ 6♦ Qâ™
That meant close to €100k for the remaining nine, but all eyes were on the best part of €1million up top.
Pardo, Muehlocker and O’Dwyer all fell by the well-rewarded wayside, and then it was Dimitar Danchev’s turn to face pocket rockets...

Brewer: A♥ Aâ™

No help for the Bulgarian, out in 6th for €201,500, and local hope Gregoire Auzoux was next to hit the rail courtesy of Marques, who then followed the Frenchman when he ran into Nick Petrangelo’s big slick.
Down to three, and Petrangelo’s chip lead was cut to shreds when he was rivered by Dickerson, then ousted in 3rd for €443,000 by Brewer’s pocket kings.
Heads-up between Brewer and Dickerson came down to one massive hand
Brewer: A♠8♣
Dickerson: 6x 6x
Flop: 8♦ 9♥ 8♣
Turn: 5â™
River: 8â™
Dickerson’s fumes were finished off next hand, giving Brewer the biggest win of his career, just over $1million at today’s exchange rate.
