English pro Ben Heath has taken down two consecutive €25k NLHE High Roller events at the PokerStars EPT stop in Prague, last night adding €273,710 to his earlier €227,130 scoop.

Heath kicked off his back-to-back titles by taking down the 22-entry event 10 on the EPT Prague schedule, 15 unique players ponying up €25k each with the eventual prizepool of €528,220 prize pool helped by Jean-Noel Thorel’s three bullets.

Only the top four spots would make it to the money, and the winner of the €10k Mystery Bounty event, Brazil’s Rodrigo Seiji, missed out on the cash this time.

Seiji: A♣ 10♥
Dvoress: J♥ J♠
Board: 7♠ 7♥ 3♠ 7♦ 9♣

Dvoress would eventually fall in 3rd, leaving Heath and Bulgaria’s Alex Kulev to battle it out heads-up, with the Englishman’s draw coming home – much like his nation’s World Cup team, though Heath has a trophy to show for his efforts.

Heath: 5♣ 3♣
Kulev: 7♠ 2♦
Board: Q♣ 4♠ 2♣ A♣ 9♠

The elite pros were soon back in action as event 13 at the Hilton Prague kicked off, this time a Single-Day High Roller with the same buy-in, €25,000.

With 30 entries and a €720,300 prizepool, Heath was again in the mix as the paid spots approached, this time five players making the money.

This time it was Norwegian businessman, Kent Staahle, who was last to miss out, his flop shove being met with a call by Thailand’s Kannapong Thanarattrakul and the draw missing...

Staahle: A♦ 4♦
Thanarattrakul: K♦ Q♠

Flop: K♠ 10♦ 3♦
Turn: K♥
River: 8â™

Like Heath, Brazil’s Pablo Brito Silva had made back-to-back cashes, and again it would be 4th spot for the man who won the 2020 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS tournament in Uruguay for $1,000,000.

Silva’s pocket 7s failed to overcome Heath’s jacks, and when Latvia’s Aleksejs Ponakovs fell to Thanarattrakul, it was heads-up time for the title and a €100k difference between 1st and 2nd places.

The young Thai player fell into Heath’s trap, shoving after the Englishman’s button limp only to find he was up against a premium holding.

Heath: A♣ J♦
Thanarattrakul: K♠ 10♥

As the live updates reported, “It's a flip," Thanarattrakul said to his Thai rail that included his girlfriend, business partner and Phachara Wongwichit.”

It was the sort of 62%+ “flip” that Heath (or anyone!) would accept every day and the board bricked for Thanarattrakul...

Flop: 6♦ 6♥ 5♥
Turn: 4♦
River: 3♥

That meant High Roller title number two for Heath and enough prizemoney from the double whammy for 10 buy-ins to the €50k SHR that kicks off today, Saturday.
