Canadian police are on the hunt for Jordan Saccucci, a poker player who won nearly $1 million at the high-stakes 2022 European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague Main Event.

Saccucci, along with three other individuals, is suspected of being involved in a series of burglaries across Ontario, Canada.

The 33-year-old, along with Marcel Blackburn (37), Dumark Lindsay (41), and Paul Nkrumah (36), are believed to have targeted more than 30 residential properties.

The suspects reportedly wore surgical masks and hoods during the robberies, which sometimes took place during the day. If confronted, they claimed to be at the property for construction or landscaping purposes.

Halton Regional Police reported:

“The HRPS would like to remind all communities to be vigilant of suspicious or unfamiliar vehicles parked in residential driveways in their neighbourhoods - in particular, newer model SUVs and pick-up trucks.

“The suspects may approach the front door of residences during daytime hours with their identities concealed using surgical masks or face coverings, and wear hoods and gloves.

“If confronted by homeowners, the suspects may provide an unconvincing excuse pertaining to some sort of construction or landscaping service before quickly departing.”

The police executed search warrants at the suspects' homes on November 21, recovering numerous stolen items. However, they were unable to make any arrests as none of the suspects were present during the raids and have yet to be tracked down.

Saccucci, a Mississauga resident, has been a regular on the live tournament scene since his first cash in 2016. His initial run of results included seven World Poker Tour (WPT) scores, amounting to more than $150,000 in prize money.

He has cashed regularly in events around the world since 2016, with his most recent result coming only six weeks ago at the WPT Global October Millions event in Kahnawake.

The suspects were last seen driving a black Chevrolet Tahoe RST and the police have advised the public not to approach the suspects.

After cashing for a whopping €913,250 ($962,126), last year in Prague, people must be wondering what on earth Saccucci must have been thinking if the allegations are true.

His alleged accomplice Marcel Blackburn is also a poker fan with one registered live score from eight years ago, although the $339 for a 12th place at the Playground Winter Festival, Kahnawake wouldn’t have lasted long.
