High-stakes tournament stars Kristen Bicknell and Alex Foxen have launched the All-In Order poker app, claiming it is the latest and greatest in tracking programs for professional players.
The couple were hands-on in creating a product that not only does all of the usual things expected of a tracking app but also a little bit more.
More of the Same?
The poker community already has plenty of choice when it comes to smartphone apps that will track poker results, so why do a pair of successful players want to push yet another?
There’s not that many reviews published yet but we assume that it has all of the bells and whistles to impress the pros.
To start with, the app will track every piece of profit and loss a player racks up. From at-the-table results to expenses such as fuel money to drive to the casino and paying for dinner while you grind.
The real selling point of this product is that it tracks staking and swaps. This is a feature not seen on rival apps.
Poker history is littered with stories of disagreements and fallouts over and agreements which turned sour. One of the most common situations is when a backer and horse disagree over how much is owed. A detailed record with times and dates will help to smooth over the deal.
Swapping action can also go wrong when one party (conveniently) disagrees with how much they must hand over after a decent win.
Is it Worth it?
It didn’t take long before Twitter started to fill with complaints about the price. The subscription starts at $9.99/month to $99.99/year with a 7-day free trial available. Many felt that this was excessive for what is essentially a fancy spreadsheet.
Kevin Mathers will also be on the All-In Order team. His role as a brand ambassador will see him informing the community of any forthcoming updates and improvements.
Time will tell if this software is worth the asking price or if it’s just the same as any other tracking app and is relying on the image of two great players to push sales.
