ACR pro Jon “Apestyles” Van Fleet has decided to start from scratch and rebuild his YouTube channel after it was unceremoniously and mysteriously deleted...

The popular streamer saw some 40 to 50 videos, which amounted to years of work, along with a hard-earned 10,000 subscribers go up in a puff of smoke last month.

With the YouTube team unable or unwilling to help him out, Van Fleet was left dealing with more bots than he’d ever see at a poker table, the lack of human help from the social media giants disturbing.

“It makes me angry that these massive content corporations don’t scale their customer service teams as they grow,” he stated recently.

Currently out in Vietnam for the triton Poker Super High Roller Series, “apestyles” has decided to take the plunge and rebuild his channel, starting with a giveaway to get the subscribers rolling in.

“I’ve got some good news and I’ve got some bad news,” Van Fleet revealed this week on his YouTube channel.

He explained: “The bad news, as a lot of you all know, the YouTube was just deleted out of nowhere, and I have no recourse about that. We do have all the recordings and we’re going to repost them – pretty quickly – and that’s not even the good news.”

“The good news is I’ve won a package to Vietnam to play the Triton Series – $100,000 in buy-ins, and I’m probably going to play more than that – but what I’m going to do to try to kick off the YouTube is give out 2% in total of my cashes in those buy-ins, to new YouTube subscribers.

That was soon bumped up to 3%, as Van Fleet had miscalculated...

...and he finished by saying he hoped he could “bring you guys back a bunch of cash!”
