Cates joins the likes of Jason Koon, Sam Greenwood, Ben Sulsky, Daniel Dvoress and Joni Jouhkimainen among the ranks of RunItOnce’s finest coaches, covering everything from Elite PLO and NLHE to Essential MTT play.

It’s a perfect fit for the RIO team founder and boss Phil Galfond, who has been jousting with Jungleman on and off since the beginning of Galfond’s PLO challenge matches.

Their mini-match saw one of Cates’ earliest acting performances – Jungleman apparently taking acting lessons during lockdown – after he had lost to Galfond...
