The first episode sees Cates and his fellow poker legend Phil Hellmuth discuss a variety of topics, including some details on the latter’s struggles as he rose to the pinnacle of the game.
With only 144 subscribers at the latest count, Cates has some marketing to do to build a YouTube following but his profile in the poker world should soon see him making a success of it. Judging by this first two-part episode, Cates has settled on a great format that will see many poker players eager to see which guests will be appearing in the coming months.
On a more controversial note, Cates’s Twitter followers were asking for Tom Dwan to be on the show. This is obvious trolling after he failed to restart the aborted match against Cates in the “Durrrr Challenge” while losing heavily.
For what it’s worth, Cates made it clear that he’d love to have Dwan on but it will be difficult to organise as he is ignoring all his SMS messages and still breaking promises to get the match up and running again.
