A short recap with results from the first six month in 2009

The recap for the first six months so far this year tells us that Patrik Antonius is by far the biggest winner with almost $5 million in total profit, his profit is +$6.5 Million in Mixed HA but is stuck in PLO and HORSE.

On the losers side LarsLuzak tops the list with almost $3 million lost, hopefully he will  run good in Vegas and repair some of the losses with live games.

durrrr wins a sick $700k in PLO and $90k in Mixed HA

durrrr hit some sick sessions yesterday, facing two of the toughest opponents in the field. He played against Phil Ivey in Mixed HA and PLO and Ziigmund in PLO:

durrrr makes some nice calls all the way to the river when Ziigmund fires, $386k pot
A nice flop and a great moneycard on the river against Phil Ivey, $294k pot
durrrr gets the money in pretty good against Ziigmunds overpair and straight draw, $275k pot
Ziigmund hit the flop with a straight draw but is up agianst durrrr´s two pair, $265k pot

durrrr has been running very good the last mont and is now over $1.5 Million in profit this year. And, have in mind that he was close to -$4 million earlier this year.

LarsLuzak wins $357k from Gus Hansen in HU PLO

LarsLuzak has been struggeling almost all year with some heavy swings but yesterday he hit some solid sessions against Gus Hansen in HU PLO:

Both LarsLuzak and Gus gets a piece of the flop and is all-in, $132k pot
The two players are all-in preflop and LarsLuzak has the best hand, $120k pot

LarsLuzak and Gus also played some ring game PLO and some Mixed HA together with theASHMAN103 and howisitfeellike. Gus made som profit in the PLO , but dropped some in the Mixed HA in which howisitfeellike was yesterdays biggest winner.

Urindanger wins $465k in some PLO and Mixed HA action

Urindanger have had some really nice sessions the last two days on the Mixed HA and PLO tables.

Yesterday he won $260k and the 25:th he won $205k. His opponents were mostly luckexpress10 and theASHMAN103:

Most of the money goes in preflop, and both Urindanger and luckexpress10 hits the flop, $242k pot
A nice turn for Urindanger when luckexpress10 has some blockers to his possible hand, $148k pot
Urindanger cracks Gus Hansens AAxx with a nice flop, $127k pot

With these last days of action Urindanger has almost recovered his big loss against Gus Hansen in HU PLO. Perhaps he is in line to a new attempt?

profbackwards wins $342k against theASHMAN103 in Hi/Lo

profbackwards is a screenname without a real name connected to it, and the last two days he/she was involved in some huge Hi/Lo action against in theASHMAN103.

The game turned out to be very successful for profbackwards, which claimed a nice profit of $342k.

Yesterday the $50k H.O.R.S.E started in Vegas, some of the usual players in the highstakes games at Full Tilt Poker are playing in this event. Maybe even profbackwards, who knows?

Gus Hansen, theASHMAN103 and luckexpress10 in great HA action

Yesterday Gus Hansen and theASHMAN103 cashed in on behalf of luckexpress10 in some great Mixed HA action. Gus ended up with a $197k profit and theASHMAN103 with a $184k profit. 

theASHMAN103´s profit came solely from luckexpress10 in the $300/$600 games. Gus profit were spread around others, although most of it came from luckexpress10:

theASHMAN103 calls a semibluff by luckexpress10 on the turn, $154k pot
Gus Hansen hits a nice turn and is all-in in good shape against luckexpress10, $109k pot
Gus Hansen slow plays a huge hand all the way to the river, $113k pot

Earlier today the gang was back for some new sessions of Mixed HA, but there were no really big winners or losers in these sessions.

Gus Hansen wins $474k vs Urindanger in HU PLO

Gus Hansen and Urindanger played a pretty sick PLO HU battle just recently, and Gus was on fire. After just an hour of playing Gus had robbed Urindanger of $474k:

A somewhat empty flop for Gus, but if you do the math he is pretty much flipping a coin here, $195k pot
Gus does the old re-suckout on the river against Urindanger´s turned straight, $131k pot

Let's hope that Urindanger will get a rematch as soon as possible, the action is always insane when these two players faces each other.

theASHMAN103 wins $55k against Urindanger (6 tables)

We monitored a sick session between theASHMAN103 and Urindanger earlier tonight. They played up to six tables at the same time and theASHMAN103 was up over $220k in the beginning but left with a $55k profit:

theASHMAN103 is all-in preflop against Urindanger, $69k pot
theASHMAN103 hits a nice runner runner flush, $72k pot
Urindanger survives with his top pair and reduces his losses, $55k pot

It's not often we get any action on the Hold'em NL tables nowadays, so, this was for sure a long-awaited session. Hopefully we will catch some more action this week.
